Top Poker tips
September 8th, 2009 -- Posted in ONLINE POKER | No Comments »Wanna be a professional player in Poker, here are some important and relevant tips that might help you to become one:
1) Don’t Play Every Hand but fold more
Probably the number one mistake beginning poker players make is that they play by far too many hands. When you’re just starting out, all you want is to play poker, and that means staying in hands that aren’t very good just to be part of the action. But playing more doesn’t mean winning more, it usually means losing more.
2) Don’t Play Drunk
People tend to drink too much, and because of that, they start doing mistakes in their game, that may cause them lose more money than they actually expected. Therefore, don’t exaggerate with your drinks if you play poker; just have something more refreshing besides alcohol/beer.
3) Don’t just bluff because you wanna bluff
A lot of beginner’s understand that bluffing is a part of poker, but they do not exactly how.
In fact, there is no rule that one must bluff a certain amount or at all during a poker game, but many players don’t feel like they’ve won unless they’ve tried a poker bluff. Bluffs only work in certain situations & against certain people, and if you know a player always calls to the showdown, it is literally impossible to bluff that player. It’s better never to bluff than just to bluff. You can never know on which person you can fall.
